For freelancers, studios, and small agencies

Stop chasing invoices.
Start getting paid.

Duefy is your AI collections agent. It watches your invoices, follows up politely and persistently in your voice, and stops the second the money lands. You never write an awkward "just checking in on that invoice" email again.

Quick nudge on invoice 2026-14

Hi Dana,

Hope the launch went well! Just a quick note that invoice 2026-14 for $3,200 was due on Monday and I haven't seen it come through yet — it may simply have slipped past.

If it's already on its way, please ignore this and thank you!

Best,
Maya

Written by the agent in your voice. Escalates only if there's no reply and no payment — and stops instantly when either arrives.

Set up in minutes, not quarters

1

Connect or add invoices

Log in with Stripe, QuickBooks, or Xero (read-only, takes a minute) — or paste any invoice and the AI reads it. Duefy now knows who owes you what, and when it was due.

2

Approve the tone once

The agent drafts a follow-up ladder in your voice: friendly at day 3, firm at day 10, final at day 21. You approve each email — or flip on autopilot and stop thinking about it.

3

Get paid, automatically

Duefy sends, watches for replies and payments, reschedules around promises to pay, and stops the instant money lands. Your dashboard shows exactly what it recovered.

Questions, answered

Will this annoy my clients?

The opposite — that's the design constraint everything else bends to. Emails read like a busy professional wrote them: short, warm, specific. Hard guardrails mean the agent never threatens, never guilt-trips, and never sends more than three emails per invoice. Most invoices settle after the first friendly nudge; the awkwardness you're picturing comes from badly-written template blasts, not from polite persistence.

How does Duefy get my invoices?

Three ways: connect Stripe, QuickBooks, or Xero with a read-only OAuth login (you approve on their site — we never see your password); paste or upload an invoice and the AI extracts the details; or type the client, amount, and due date in ten seconds. Payment status syncs automatically for connected sources, so a paid invoice stops its chase instantly.

What if a client replies?

The agent reads replies. A promise to pay ('you'll have it Friday') reschedules the follow-up to just after the promised date. A dispute, question, or claim of payment pauses the sequence immediately and flags it for you — the agent never argues with a human.

Do the emails come from my address?

On the Pro plan, yes — Duefy sends from your own mailbox so replies thread naturally and deliverability is yours. On Solo, emails send from our infrastructure with your name and reply-to address.

Can I approve every email before it goes out?

Yes, and that's the default. Approval mode shows you each draft to edit or approve with one click. When you trust the tone, switch any chase to full-auto and stop thinking about it.

Is my data safe?

Connections are read-only wherever the provider supports it, tokens are encrypted at rest, we never train AI models on your data, and you can delete everything with one request. See the Security page for details.

What happens after the final notice?

Duefy marks the chase as exhausted and gives you a next-steps playbook: a phone-call script, a late-fee letter, and guidance on small-claims or collections options for your jurisdiction. We don't pretend software solves every deadbeat — but it solves the 80% who just needed a system to nudge them.

You did the work. Duefy gets it paid.
